Happy New Year!

From one of Phandeluys and her partner’s social channels:

I loved this quote from one of my [and my son's] favorite authors. Mistakes means we are moving, trying new things, taking risks. Here’s to a year of getting some things right and to learning and growing when we make a mistake. Happy New Year!

About this blog

Excepting this introduction and what are—and will be—posted after March 2015, this blog mirrored a now out-of-commission blog, http://ya-chang-lin.blogspot.com, which was taken down on October 21, 2013 by its author Phandeluys Truong.

The author's original contents and supporting documents were captured by multiple means from the above-mentioned blog while it was alive and active. There may have been a glitch here and there that prevented me from downloading the complete blog as it had existed. Thus, readers familiar with the original blog may find a few missing posts and/or comments. Those postings that I was able to grab and preserve in their entirety are reposted here under my name, however, all rights remain that of the original author.

This series of posts documents the fraudulent, sometimes criminal, and frequent unethical/immoral activities of Ya-Chang Robert Lin, a Taiwanese native of mainland Chinese parentage, who defrauded a naturalized US citizen, Phandeluys Truong, into a marriage that had been his shield against USCIS for his intentional violations of immigration law:

as a nonimmigrant F-1 student, he had willfully operated an international students recruiting business without prior work authorization from the then United States Immigration and Naturalization Service;

as President of said business, he had knowingly helped both mainland Chinese and Taiwanese students to evade military drafts in their countries by facilitating their applications to study in the US and abroad;

as President of said business, he had knowingly helped both mainland Chinese and Taiwanese students looking to enter the United States with the intention of gaining permanent US resident status under the pretense of studying;

as President of said business, he had purposely evaded paying taxes on the commissions received from it and failed to report the earned income to the IRS by having the payments wired back to Taiwan to his mother Chang Hsueh;

he had applied for reinstatement of his F-1 or student status and a change of status, while knowingly withheld the preceding facts on his own applications for permanent resident and citizenship in the United States.

And those are just the tip of the iceberg. Ya-Chang Robert Lin had been employed at AAFES or The Exchange headquarter in Dallas, Texas as an information technology auditor, where he managed to steal—by downloading to CDs that he kept in his personal possession while abiding for time and opportunities to "do business" in Taiwan and/or China—thousands of his colleagues’ Social Security numbers and personnel files while working on one of its HR projects. The HR data on one of these projects became the basis for an academic paper, speaking proposal for ISACA, and a consulting business he was "collaborating with " [more like conning other people into developing and fronting for him].

Ya-Chang Robert Lin is a reprobate with a seared conscience. Lacking normal capacity for empathy, remorse, and reciprocation of good will, he is addicted to lying, cheating, and stealing for the pure pleasures derived from being able to get away with it. Because he is such a good liar—so charming and well versed in manipulation techniques and acting skills—it is hard to distinguish him from reprobates.

Ya-Chang Robert Lin was able to dupe some of the smart people in federal government [AAFES or The Exchange, USCIS, ICE, and DHS], higher education [Fort Hays State University and Navarro College], and information technology auditing and security [ISACA and ACFE]. Among his legacy: A son who refused any connection with him and wished that he were dead.

Paired for the holidays

Refreshed from their trip to New York where he consulted while she visited the Guggenheim Museum [she described the building as one big circular ramp where you take an elevator to the top floor and leisurely walk down eight inspiring floors], Phandeluys and her partner are back at the studio refining their American and International Rumba choreography that is set to one of her favorite songs by a beloved artist Enrico Macias …

Seeing them dance the pattern, I cannot wait for classes to resume … I have missed my friend, from her quietly distinctive air of idealism and optimism, her transformative energy, her smile of confidentiality and knowingness, her bright and unexpected laughter, to her signature scent, all of which combined to lift my spirits, like the effect of sunlight after rain …

This holiday, Phandeluys’ partner is hosting a get-together dinner at his home. Because I am lucky, I [and other class members] got myself invited via their social media channels. Guests are requested to bring our favorite Champagne to pair with the food, which includes “Masala prawns, sea scallops with gochujang, smoky mussel stew,” and other fruits de mer …

Am appropriately excited about the opportunity to become more than just a student in their classes; finally, a chance to create a relationship, a vision, and memory that might not have even been considered possible, until now …

Stay tune, and until next post,

A sneak peak

Your capacity to dream and to learn should not be limited by your physical proximity to us and our availability to you …

To that end, and to solve students’ most critical questions during periods when she and her partner are absent from the studio, Phandeluys and her partner established and are beta-testing Dance Moves Deconstructed, a mentoring service incorporating digital, virtual reality and 3-D tools that captured and streamed live on the Web students’ postures and movements while they dance their routine on the dance floor in the studio. Detailed and personalized feedback and correction are almost instantaneous, as if Phandeluys and her partner are in the studio and at the students’ side!

This is beyond cool … almost as cool as commanding your electronics by popping your muscles via the Myo armband.

I love innovation- and agility-fueled efficiency!

Ya-Chang Robert Lin's well-honed gift for lying and defrauding

There goes my friend departing from her partner and Starbucks for work in the Lincoln Navigator ... she looks right at home in that vehicle.

In an earlier version of his résumé—the one he had Phandeluys wrote and submitted to AAFES or The Exchange as part of his job application—Chinese/Taiwanese habitual liar and pathological fraudster Ya-Chang Robert Lin claimed to have been an “active” member of the University of Oklahoma’s Graduate Student Senate, where he represented the Department of Economics.

According to a letter from the Graduate Student Senate, this was yet another untruth or distortion on his balance sheet of lies that went undetected … no wonder this Chinese/Taiwanese charlatan peddling snake oil about himself and his family background is so full of himself, like a big fish in a mud puddle …

New career path for my friend

This weekend finds my friend visiting and settling in at Starbucks while deep-diving into genres that are very specific to the loss prevention domain.

During the hours I had been there watching her, she ploughed through a tremendous amount of reading involving titles in physical security, internal theft resolution, shoplifting and shrink, to safety and risk, organized retail crime, fraud and data protection, to business continuity, supply chain integrity, mobile technology and e-commerce, to name a few.

I know she is a speed reader with a passion for knowledge, accuracy, and problem solving but jeesh ... I admire her steely discipline over simple indulgence.

Despite her partner's insistence that a stay-at-home partner [Phandeluys has a strong and immediate aversion to the word "wife"] and mother is a luxury he can afford, my friend's overwhelming instinct is to immerse herself in a career path where she can unleash her passion to expand, explore, be strategic, and produce day after day. I supposed that her experience with Chinese/Taiwanese thug, fraudster and psychopath Ya-Chang Robert Lin in a fake marriage for immigration and professional benefits under the guise of "family" shaped her, almost imperceptibly, towards a roughly opposite direction of self-respect, independence, and the pursuit of her own happiness ...

Cannot say I question her cold practicalities with an honesty that had never been habitual during the 16 years that Chinese/Taiwanese thug, fraudster and psychopath Ya-Chang Robert Lin had stolen from my friend through a fraudulent marriage ... he was perfectly capable of feigning an interest in a future he had had no intention of inhabiting to obtain both immigration and professional benefits through Phandeluys' naturalized citizenship status and professional resources ...

I should not be surprised by the motivations and actions of a person—dare I say an animal—coming from a culture that encourages the practices of female foot binding and ghost weddings, but I am as I read through Phandeluys' digital diary about her experience throughout the marriage and towards the end of 2012 when she discovered documents that showed her marriage had been set up so that lowlife Chinese/Taiwanese thug, fraudster and psychopath Ya-Chang Robert Lin can remain in the United States, obtain his green card, gain help in getting a job—and being promoted throughout his career—at a federal agency in order to hack and steal both personnel data and business ideas that he can later develop and sell to foreign governments and/or entities while claiming everything he had done was solely for "the family."

p.s. If you think Minghun or ghost wedding no longer exists, read this article at the China Daily website, http://europe.chinadaily.com.cn/epaper/2015-10/23/content_22261531.htm

The head says Yes ... The heart says, Definitely, Yes

From Phandeluys and her partner’s social media sites:

It’s too easy to get caught up on all the things we need to do or all the things making us unhappy. But when we focus only on work or only on the negative, we miss making connections with the people around us. We miss seeing new opportunities. So look up. Look into someone’s eyes. Start a conversation. Enjoy a moment of silence. Take time to reflect and refocus. You’ll be glad you did.

Make the most of this long weekend … rain or shine!

Modernised creatives to the core

Tonight’s and last night’s classes were all about Hip-Hop and Popping to my friend and her partner’s remix of Bell Biv DeVoe’s Poison—an original version of the song can be found at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=39DrStgcaOM …

I experienced such riotous thoughts and sensations seeing them dance this routine, like being nailed against the red dawn of my passions and waking up all the shadowy corners inside me … My mind kept asking where on earth am I … Fizzing with youthful energy, their performance [for the lack of a better word] felt romantic, ethereal, and so androgynous—they were both wearing matching black long-sleeved crewneck, brown leather blazer, skinny jeans, and made-to-measure oxford shoes while dancing a very relaxed, black and white, sleekly pristine choreography … Bloody hell, it is bravely versatile of them … yet could it be more perfect? Now, if I can only get my own slice of the action without hurting my ankles and knees.

The sense of style

Spotted my friend and her partner at their favorite coffee shop this week … Starbucks has become a part of their morning routine before they parted and headed off to work … She in her winter uniform of black slack, black oxford shoes, button-down shirt, silk scarf, cardigan, and black trench coat with a touch of diamond on the earlobes and jadeite on the wrist. Very basic yet tres chic and elegant in the way she assembles and wears them.

Dancesport classes resumed with an International and American Waltz routine; it is the combined expression of their “synergies as a pair—that there is always more to learn and discover about the one we adore.” There was a focus and presence about her … the way she dances—it is alight with sensitivity … a confidence in her own skin that made me straighten my spine a fraction. This dance routine definitely requires a man of sufficient virility to master, each pattern a taunt of promised pleasure … At best, I can toy with the possibilities.

he had applied for reinstatement of his F-1 or student status and a change of status, while knowingly withheld the preceding facts on his own applications for permanent resident and citizenship in the United States.

Empower by Dance! and the DCCC

Here is a letter from the Dallas Chinese Community Center in Richardson, dated March 30, 2008, acknowledging the partnership between the center and Empower by Dance!—an organization founded [and still owned and managed] by Phandeluys to promote competitive and social ballroom dancing and performance.

Chinese/Taiwanese thug Ya-Chang Robert Lin tried to discredit my friend [among his people in Chinese, knowing that Phandeluys would not understand the language, rendering her defenseless against his lies] so he can take over the contract after she communicated with him about her strategy and tactic on how to partner with the center to bring in social and competitive ballroom programs. This peddler of fraud unsuccessfully tried to do the same thing with other organizations [including Lifetime Fitness and the Lewisville Independent School District, among others] that my friend had contracts with, only to learn that contracts were to be signed with Empower by Dance! only and not with Robert Lin ... kind of difficult to malign your business ally with a third-party who can also understand and speak the same language both you and your partner donot an easy thing to claim "misunderstandings due to language" and "not properly understanding and phrasing English."

Oh, there is a "legend" out there about how this Chinese/Taiwanese fraudster Ya-Chang Robert Lin acquired his "professional" dance frame by daily practicing his dance routine with a folding chair as his partner for hours on end ... Peddler of fraud Ya-Chang Robert Lin spouted that lie, which per my friend's diary entry, had originated with Ben Dela Vega, the same man who had trained this thug for his first Waltz showcase with Dance USA Dallas. Yes, the same man that Chinese/Taiwanese thug accused Phandeluys of having an affair with; the one this thug went to ask for bail money after he was arrested and jailed for assaulting my friend.

Home is where your heart is

A post from Phandeluys’ partner on their social networking site: Home is where Phandeluys’ heart is now and where she is recentering and recharging … harmony and balance are our goals as we plan to entertain in our home, hosting and finding more pleasure with our families.

Classes will resume again this week—I know Phandeluys is more artistically inclined now than in the recent past; however, my partner is quite particular with her taste, and her emotional focus is achieving balance and harmony, which may take a bit of inner conflict to arrive at its outward manifestation in its touching, expressive, and healing form … Time to allow ourselves some freedom to dream, imagine, and create—to simply revel in this wonderful energy for imaginative expression with a dash of exotic flavor … .

Employment Authorized date as approved by the INS for Chinese/Taiwanese thug Ya-Chang Robert Lin

Below is Chinese/Taiwanese peddler of fraud and thug Ya-Chang Robert Lin’s copy of notification of approval for his application of adjustment of status in the United States. Of particular interest is Employment Authorized date of February 11, 2000 as stamped at the top left and center of the document.

Question: When did Chinese/Taiwanese peddler of fraud and thug Ya-Chang Robert Lin begin his employment with AAFES or The Exchange? According to my friend’s digital diary, January 11, 1999.

Defrauding the United States Immigration and Naturalization Services was not a challenging accomplishment enough, Chinese/Taiwanese thug and habitual liar had to take on AAFES, an agency of the DoD or the Department of Defense, too ... Unfortunately, E-Verify had not been in place and the department and/or person responsible for running background check on prospective job applicants was neither competent nor efficient doing the job  ...

Sub-plot or fresh start?

This whole week, Phandeluys and her partner have been cutting classes short by almost two hours. I suspect it has to do with the enforcement hearing on November 6, where if the judge finds my friend to be in contempt, she will be heading off to jail for six months. By an average Jane’s standard, she seems impenetrably quiet and focused for a person who might be incarcerated. I suppose that being a pragmatic person, my friend plans for the worst scenario and focuses on what she can do under whatever circumstances at any given moment … she did say that time in isolation might just be what is needed for her to complete her memoir, a book of poetry, and a play script she and her partner have been collaborating on …

From their social networking site, her partner posted the following, with a rough English translation: … I want to spend quality time with Phandeluys, giving her priority … We are taking time off and focusing on the unspoken ways to communicate our love to one another … This is not a good time to start a family, but a great time for romance and creativity and the least we could do is to have a lot of fun trying while developing and nurturing a closer emotional and physical bond with one another, and tapping into our subconscious for sustainable creative inspiration. Being with her makes me feel like every part of me has a home, has a purpose … and I resent anyone who might trespassed on my happiness, especially as we near November …

I do not know what Phandeluys’ partner will be doing if my friend is incarcerated; he seems fiercely—and may I say atypically Asian-like—loyal and in it for the long term … Me? I will get better at dancesport through reviewing and drilling the patterns and choreography from the demo tapes they had allowed us to record from their classes with the thought I might have a chance to dance with Phandeluys in six-months’ time, while thoroughly defacing Chinese/Taiwanese peddler of fraud Ya-Chang Robert Lin for an utterly untrustworthy thug camouflaged by the pretension of his stolen station and wealth that he is …

An MBA and a Ph.D. for Ya-Chang Robert Lin?

How many of you out there have been duped by this Chinese/Taiwanese habitual liar and thug Ya-Chang Robert Lin into believing that he has an MBA and a Ph.D. in Economics?

The proof is in the transcript … !

Thanks to my friend for systematically scanning or photographing and documenting everything she had stumbled upon in the cleaning up process that would lead to the discovery that her marriage was nothing more a fraudulent plan concocted from the family of Lin Kuo-Sung, Chang Hsueh and their thuggish son Ya-Chang Lin for immigration, financial, business, and professional purposes.

An ally or an enemy?

Several readers raised the possibilities of this Chinese/Taiwanese psychopath and habitual liar Ya-Chang Robert Lin selling or handing over to “foreign” government or interested third-parties sensitive proprietary and personnel information that he had access to throughout his employment at AAFES or The Exchange …

I am mentioning it here as the chances are very real: how easy is it for this Chinese/Taiwanese psychopath and habitual liar, under the guise of IT auditor and/or IT systems engineer/architect, to download sensitive data to his cell phones, laptops and external drives and transport them back to his own countries via the same mechanisms?

I would not put it past him … A man is made by his abilities; this Chinese/Taiwanese psychopath and habitual liar Ya-Chang Robert Lin is made by his lifelong frauds, which are now slowly being unraveled.

An aesthetic play?

Classes were not held this past weekend … From their social networking site, with corresponding translation in English from his Korean posting:

Classes are cancelled this Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I am surprising Phandeluys and we are busting out of town … There is a wonderful feeling of freedom when there is no itinerary and no reservations … In our partnership, I am the navigator guy—also the one to find a place to stay each night, whereas Phandeluys is in charge of food services—she always has a good idea and sniffs out the best restaurants—and book shops—intuitively. … cozy rooms and fireside dining, here we come … Our route will not disappoint as we look forward to sampling roads, conditions, and a wide variety of temperatures … Have a pleasant respite and we will see you all next Friday for an exotic interpretation of Paso Doble in celebration of Halloween!
