My "lack of contributions" to this marriage | No surprises ...

Phandeluys A. Truong:First, you conceal. Second, you falsify. That is you in totality, courtesy of your parents' nurturance and guidance. Good riddance to you and yours[.]

It isn't surprising nor unexpected that my spouse vehemently denies every single contributions I had ever made toward his career, consulting gigs, sideline businesses [including ballroom dancing], online teaching posts, ... Matter not how vociferously he roars, ultimately, it's the criminal justice system and the family and immigration courts that decide.

[I supposed my spouse will claim that his mother, whom he'd proudly presented to the chairperson / adviser of his doctoral committee as having a master's degree in English when she only attended and completed a three-week course in English Mastery, helped him with all his strategic and analytical thinking, planning, writing, and implementation. ... a child has to learn how to lie, cheat, steal, and pretend to be someone else from adults who model those behaviors for him.]

My mother-in-law with a master's degree in English ... Hahaha ...

I had yet to study and / or to read up on the law of contracts and of sales of goods and services, but this Service Contract I penned for my spouse on his first IT consulting gig did a decent job in covering the basic principles and underlying policies determining the enforceability of the promises of the parties in the formation, interpretation, and performance of the contract.  [Naturally, now that I have had a chance to study Contracts, and in reviewing my first attempt in drafting such a document, I can spot areas where this contract could have been improved.]

Why such long-winded explication?

My version ...

Certainly not the first Cover Letter I had written for my spouse in his job search ...

Nor the last actionable advice, planning, and implementation in his career strategy.

  1. You should consider a shout-out of this blog, especially this post, to as many of the career recruiters/agencies as possible so that they become aware of the cheating, lying and stealing bastard that might come knocking (someday) on their doors.
